Has anyone tried the Yubikey 2FA? Seems to be a slightly better option that using a mobile device to hold 2fa keys due to phones etc being so easily broken/lost/seized

I've ordered a Yubikey to see how it goes, I'll share any findings

Ive been looking at these too but, not much support for websites.
If you a ledger it has FIDO F2A support i that fit the needs.

I'll let you know how they compare. Unfortunatley very few sites are on the same hym sheet when it comes to 2fa

I'm hoping the trezor T has something more widely accepted. Exchange compatibility some time hopefully.

Whats peoples thoughts on the most widely accepted 2FA? Seems everyone goes with slightly different options.

Ive been using Google Authenticator, but I'm quickly seeing a need to go with something else. I haven't tried, but what about "backing-up" the google auth app to a second and third device? Just about everyone has a phone and a tablet. I do at least. Does that work as a semi-sufficient backup?

My tip is to remove phone number auth and fallow this and create backup codes so you dont locked out one day if the phone dies

cant remeber but i think you can add more devices to the same account.

hhm. How do I know which of my 1000 google accounts I used for my google auth app?

I tried to follow the steps, but it's only helping if I get locked out of my google account. I cant seem to figure out how this helps me recover my 2FA codes that are set up in the app though.
