I've been using Binance and the fees aren't too bad, but is there any other site that has a much lower exchange fee? I heard a lot of people talk about Bittrex.

I use Binance also and I'm satisfied with fees. Bittrex has high fees for BTC but on alts are mostly ok.
I've heard Bitstamp has low fees but I have to check.

    I also look for Bitstamp.

Hey, I used Binance, and they also charge half the price for fees when you use their binance coins :) Hope this helps!

Don't use Bittrex. They disabled withdrawal for a lot of verified users and unverified users 2 months ago without any notification and the issue still hasn't been resolved.

Search for DEXs Those are Decentralized Exchanges. In general they have smaller fees. And i think in the future they will be bigger than normal exchanges. Now they are not so popular right now, but they will be.

I use Bittrex but i bought a lot of Cobinhood - COB because i think a lot of people going to use this free of fee DEX in the future.

Does anyone understand exactly how the discounted trading fees with BNB on binance work?

    I've had good experiences with CEX.IO. Depositing using Visa/Mastercard is (3.5% + $ 0.25 Commission), withdrawal to visa/mastercard is only $3.80.
Market price for coins are a little bit higher than other exchanges AFAIK, but trading fees are very low or zero. As long as you don't use the straight BUY/SELL coin option, just use the Trading screen, which will match buyers/sellers on the site. I'm yet to pay more than $1 for trading between USD and BTC/ETH/XRP..

I liked bitfinex until they decided to no longer support US customers. Funny thing is I'm still able to login and probably still trade if I wanted (haven't tried). I'm thinking of buying some iota in there though. There fees are reasonable enough.

GDAX by far, it is connected to Coinbase so log in with your Coinbase credentials and trade with virtually no fees
